What is in the post cycle therapy category, and what it actually is

The medicines grouped here are licensed for medical conditions and are used by some people after a course of anabolic steroids. It is worth being plain about that distinction. Tamoxifen, stocked at 10MG and 20MG, is a treatment for hormone-receptor-positive breast cancer. Clomifene and enclomiphene, at 25MG and 50MG, are used in fertility care to stimulate ovulation. HCG, carried in 2000IU, 5000IU and 10000IU vials, has licensed uses in fertility and in undescended testes. Cabergoline at 0.25MG and 0.5MG lowers prolactin. Mesterolone at 25MG is an androgen. Using any of them to restore hormone levels after a steroid cycle is outside what they were approved for.

These are not mild medicines

That does not make them mild. These molecules act directly on hormone pathways, and their recognised effects include visual disturbance with tamoxifen and clomifene, mood changes, effects on bone density, blood clot risk, and liver enzyme changes. HCG is an injectable and carries the infection risk that goes with any injection handled outside a clinical setting. Cabergoline affects heart valves at higher cumulative doses.

Why forum protocols are not guidance
