How the erectile dysfunction medicines differ

Most of this range is PDE5 inhibitors. Sildenafil and vardenafil are taken about an hour before sex and work for several hours. Tadalafil lasts much longer, up to a day and a half, and is also sold in low strengths meant to be taken every day. Avanafil is the newest of the group and starts working a little faster. Alprostadil is a different kind of treatment, given as an injection, for men who do not respond to tablets.

None of these medicines can be taken with nitrates, and they need care alongside some blood pressure treatments. A doctor should confirm which one suits you before you order. Products that pair an ED medicine with dapoxetine for premature ejaculation are listed separately under ED and PE combination tablets.
