Triobloc 25GM Cream (Alpha Arbutin)

Triobloc 25GM Cream is Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd's alpha arbutin cream, in a tube of 25gm. Alpha arbutin is a plant-derived skin-lightening ingredient that releases hydroquinone slowly in the skin, used for dark spots.

Alpha arbutin cream is used to fade age spots, sun spots, melasma and the marks left by acne, and to even out skin tone.

Alpha arbutin is a glycosylated hydroquinone. It blocks tyrosinase, the enzyme the pigment cells use to make melanin, and releases only small amounts of hydroquinone over time, so it is gentler than hydroquinone itself and works more slowly.

A thin layer is applied to the dark patches or the whole face once or twice a day, after cleansing, as the pack directs. Results appear over weeks to months, and continue only with daily sunscreen. Follow the pack leaflet.
