About Ban A Tan 50GM Cream
Ban A Tan 50GM Cream is Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd's Arbutin+liquorice cream, in a tube of 50gm. Arbutin with liquorice (licorice) extract is a plant-based skin-lightening cream for dark patches.
What it is used for
The cream is used to fade melasma, age spots and post-acne marks, and to even out skin tone.
How it works
Arbutin blocks tyrosinase, the enzyme that makes melanin, and releases a little hydroquinone in the skin. Liquorice contains glabridin, which also lowers pigment production and calms redness. Together they lighten patches gently and slowly.
How it is taken
A thin layer is applied to the affected skin once or twice a day, after cleansing, as the pack directs. Results appear over weeks to months with daily sunscreen. Follow the pack leaflet.
Side effects

Precautions
